Click on the link below to find out about your child's learning for this term.

The children have all now been given log-ins for Spelling Shed and had the opportunity to look at the website in class.  The children will be set a list of spellings (usually ten) on Mondays and will do a quick spelling test on those words the following Monday.  The lists will be set for them on Spelling Shed and they will be given a paper copy in a spelling book.  Any additional spelling practise you wish to do with your child should be done on paper rather than in the book. The children may also play on any of the other resources on the Spelling Shed website if they wish as long as the weekly lists are also practised.

Environmental Day

On Wednesday 14th October we had an environmental day linked to the book 'One Plastic Bag' by Miranda Paul.  We made bookmarks using plastic bags and wrappers.  Here are some pictures of us making our creations.

Outdoor Learning

On Thursday afternoons, we have been doing some outdoor learning.  So far,  have carried out a scavenger hunt to find different things that appear in autumn; leaf identification and colour wheels made from leaves we have collected that we sorted into different shades of colour.
