Our Reading Gazebo
We are very lucky at St Mary's to have a reading gazebo, where we can relax and enjoy our books outside as well as inside.
Thanks to a very generous donation from a former teacher at St Mary's, Jane Shropshire, we were able to create this lovely reading environment for everyone to enjoy. We even have blankets, for days when it isn't so warm!
The year 6 librarians wheel out our selection of books at the start of lunch and everyone is welcome. We always have lots of children from across the school who are happy to help organise the books and help children find something to enjoy.
