School Council
Who we are
We are the St. Mary’s School Council and we are the elected representatives of our classes. Our job is to be the voice of our classmates. We meet and make decisions on how the school could run things. For example, we make decisions for themed days throughout the year, like special meals events for school lunches, and what children should wear for Children in Need and other charity days. Last year we organised the school to run a local community fundraising event, for a local animal charity called ALFs. We also take what our classmates say back into meetings, which we then discuss with Mrs Orton and members of the teachers' leadership team.
