On Tuesday 21st March, Miss Haywood took 8 children to Wodson Park to compete in Hertfordshire's county finals for rapid fire cricket. After winning their division the children were thrilled to be going to the finals. They were up against the winner of the different districts of Hertfordshire and the competition had been made more challenging.
The children had a great time and came 4th. We are all very proud of them and the way they represented St Mary's. Well done!
The children had a lovely day yesterday, celebrating all things reading related. We took many photos and will be adding them to the website once we have checked them all. Below is a sample of some of the fun we had.
Thank you all for supporting our non school uniform day, organised by Edie, Rosie and Emily. Through your kind donations we raised £282.46 which has been sent to the DEC charity. Well done girls for inspiring us all and organising the event.
Have a look at the information below and see if you can come up with a logo for the Friends of St Mary's.
To get us all into the Christmas mood, the classes were serenaded with a range of Christmas songs by our choir and a group of year 5 ukulele players.
