Homework
Homework in Year 5 follows this structure each week:
- Daily reading for at least 10 minutes
- Spellings set on EdShed every Friday from 15:25 - 09:00 the following Friday. Please play 5 games each week and practise any group spellings you are required too.
- 25 minutes of Times Table Rockstars to be completed each week.
- Links to both EdShed and TTRS are on the 'homework tasks' in the stream of Google Classroom.
- Google Classroom tasks are set each week to be completed online using the platform 'Wayground'. The children are set English and maths tasks relating to their current learning. The links are in the classwork section of your child's Google Classroom page.
There is an in-school homework club each week on a Thursday lunchtime run by Miss Haywood and Mr Rogers to offer children help at school with completing their homework on time.
