Homelearning weekly timetable 8.6.20

We hope you are all doing OK at home still, we miss you, don't forget to stay in touch. This week we have included lessons from Oak Academy for maths and English: see the timetable for the links below.  In maths we will be looking at symmetry, shape and angles.  In English there are a few reading comprehensions and some lessons on character description.  In science we are continuing to look at the digestive system: see the PDFs below as well. For Spanish this week, review the key vocabulary used in Goldilocks and the three bears and create your own flash cards. For topic work we would like you to create an advert persuading people to come and visit your local town.  If you have any questions or you want to show off your amazing work please send it to us; we love seeing what your getting up to.  You are all doing amazingly - parents included :)

 Spanish

For your Spanish work this week we would like you to create your own key vocabulary cards for the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. You can use the attached grid for each card (you can do as many cards as you need) and pick out the key vocabulary (in Spanish) e.g. Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear, Baby Bear, hot, big, small etc . You can also draw illustrations if you would like to. Please keep the cards safe once you have made them as they will be helpful for the next task on the text.

Persuasive leaflet

Using the local area research that you completed for last weeks task we would like to create a persuasive leaflet to try and encourage people to visit Ware. You will need to use the persuasive features that you used in your pirate persuasion writing. These features are: exaggeration, exciting adjectives, conjunctions, present tense, paragraphs, rhetorical questions and powerful verbs.

Environmental Studies

Have a look at the Springwatch page and see if you can complete one of the activities.
