Homelearning weekly timetable 22.6.20

Hope you are all continuing to keep working well at home and are finding time to have some fun too! This week we are going to continue with the Oak Academy schedule for the morning with additional suggested tasks for maths.

In maths  the lessons focus on symmetry this week, which we hope you enjoy. Please send in some images of the work that you create so we can continue to see what you do. We have also included Rapid Reasoning activities for those of you who would like an extra challenge. Why not also have a go at the arithmetic test set for the end of the week?

In English you will be working on reading comprehension and grammar.

A home learning idea from Miss George

If we were at school, we would be picking some of the amazing fruit and vegetables that we had planned to grow in the various pots and containers and in the polytunnel. Imagine that we have had an amazing crop of tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies, peppers, carrots, beetroot, peas, beans, radish, potatoes, strawberries, lettuce, rocket, mini corn on the cob and a huge range of herbs. Plan a menu for three meals using as many of the fruit and vegetables as possible. Think about drinks and sweet and savoury dishes that we could make. Make and decorate a menu card with your ideas.
