Hello everybody hope you are all keeping well and happy.
This week we have uploaded a link to the national Oak Academy online learning resources. Each day there is a good maths and English lesson with an additional lesson depending on the schedule. Unlike the Hamilton Trust resources or White Rose, you will not have to print out worksheets, but can just work on any paper you have at hand. We suggest that you begin at week 1 so that you are introduced to the teachers from the Oak Academy who are leading the lessons. The maths content should be familiar to your children as we have already covered it this year, so it may help them understand their learning even more. Let us know how you get on.
Have you tried any of the maths games we suggested last week? We can personally recommend Risky if you haven't tried it. Please follow the links that we posted last week.
We have also added a fun art activity where you can imagine your perfect summer day and a reading comprehension about Captain Tom Moore. There are 3 different levels of text for this, you need to choose 1 star (easiest), 2 star or 3 star (hardest) and then answer the questions that go with it. You can find the star at the bottom of the page. We think that most of you can do 2 or 3 star level.
