The Hertfordshire Armed Forces Covenant Board, or Hertfordshire Heroes, is encouraging everyone to celebrate VE Day 75 this year. Hertfordshire Heroes works in partnership to ensure that veterans and those in the Armed Forces are not disadvantaged in accessing services; that the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces Community are recognised and remembered; and to encourage the integration of service life into civilian life.
8 May 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and although original plans have had to change, celebrations to mark the occasion will be taking place safely across the country.
