P.E.
Pupils flourish by taking part in a wide-range of sporting activities including high-quality PE lessons, after school clubs, inter and intra school events and competitions. This assists in pupils building a lifelong love and priority of one’s own physical well-being. Pupils are offered the opportunities to set realistic, achievable goals for themselves, targeting personal bests and progression across their time at the school. Pupils are taught to respect their peers, in the context of them being teammates and opponents, and will learn to ‘win’ with pride and ‘lose’ with dignity. Pupils are encouraged to work collaboratively to achieve personal and team goals by supporting, encouraging and leading one another. Pupils are inclusive and offer opportunities for their peers to enjoy the friendships which sport creates.
